Are eco-applicator tampons easy to insert?

Absolutely! We do recommend however that you check that the inner and outer tubes are unlocked before trying to insert it. To do this, simply hold the grooved rings firmly ‘twisting’ the inner tube slightly so it turns with ease. Hold the grooved rings of the applicator with your thumb and ring finger and insert your tampon as normal!

As the name suggests, &SISTERS is the brainchild of more than one person. Meet the co-founders: a daughter and mother duo Lucy and Claire Lettice.

having experienced, first-hand, the shame and hardship that comes with lack of access to safe period products, they decided to take action. Drawing on Claire’s entrepreneurial background and Lucy’s expertise as a buyer, they dreamt up a model for a new kind of conscious period product - one that was better for our bodies, better for our planet and better for our sisters- ensuring everyone worldwide had better access to the highest quality, sustainable period products.

&SISTERS is on a mission to reimagine the future of menstrual health, starting with safe, sustainable and beautifully designed period products. The business is built on three main pillars:

Our pads, liners and tampons are made from 100% organic cotton, certified by Soil Association according to the Global Organic Textile Standards. We only use the highest quality, natural ingredients and carry out continuous testing and improvement of our products to ensure you are taking the best care of your bodies.
