Pure Beginnings is a family-owned and -run company that has the well-being of our customers at the heart of our business. From humble beginnings, they have grown into one of the most trusted organic skin-care brands in South Africa, and have always been guided by their founding principle:
“Pure Beginnings keeps your family’s skin as pure as the day they were born by providing high quality, effective, organic skin care products which are not harmful to the environment – ensuring peace of mind from the beginning”.
NATURAL AND ORGANIC
Pure Beginnings is (and always has been) natural and organic. Our aim was to create products free from the chemicals found in many conventional personal care products. Of course, this means that all the raw ingredients we use are also free from any residual chemicals that may be present as a result of farming practices.
SUPPORTING RURAL COMMUNITIES
Africa contains a quarter of the world’s biodiversity, with more than 30 000 indigenous species that are well adapted to unforgiving environmental conditions. For centuries they have provided Africans with fruits, oils, remedies and nutritional supplement.
Pure Beginnings sources ethical, sustainable and fairly traded indigenous ingredients from rural African communities. Southern Africa is one of the poorest regions in the world with millions of families, particularly in remote rural areas, surviving on less than a dollar a day. Sourcing ingredients from these communities helps provide income to put food on the table, educate children and obtain medical support when needed.
Pure Beginning has 3 core principles they truly live up to.
Pure skin – Better Health – Earth Conscious.
